Who we are
The Wairarapa Handyman was founded by Bryan White — a carpenter with 30+ years in service management who got tired of watching homeowners get let down by tradespeople who cut corners, didn't show up, or charged for work they hadn't done.
We know these houses — the 1940s bungalows, the weatherboard villas, the exposed sections that take a beating every winter. We know what lasts and what doesn't.
Fully insured, H&S trained, and we clean up after ourselves. Every single time.
What it costs
We charge for time actually spent on your job — no quoting overhead, no padded estimates. Most work is handled by the hour, and you're always in the loop before we carry on.
Almost certainly not. The minimum charge covers two hours — bring a list and we'll work through it. Small jobs done right save bigger bills later.
Masterton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, Martinborough and the wider Wairarapa. Out of town is $1.05/km — confirmed before booking.
Only if the job is likely over $2,000. Below that it's faster and cheaper to just get it done. We'll tell you which applies.
