📌 1. Scope of Services
Each package includes a defined number of labour hours for general handyman work. Tasks outside the agreed scope or requiring specialist tools or licensed trades (e.g. plumbing, electrical) may incur extra charges or be referred to a specialist.
💲 2. Pricing & Inclusions
All package prices are + GST.
- Quick Fix, Spruce-Up, Half-Day Hero, Full Day Fix-Up: include standard materials (screws, glue, fixings).
- Gold Bones hours are prepaid and redeemable only for general labour tasks.
🧾 3. Payment Terms
- Full payment is required when booking any package.
- Gold Bones must be paid for upfront. Hours are valid for 12 months.
- Invoices not paid within 7 days may incur a 10% late fee.
🚗 4. Travel Charges
- Included for jobs within 30km round trip of Carterton.
- $1.05/km applies for longer distances.
- For under 30km, a flat travel fee of $22.50 + GST applies if not part of a bundle.
📅 5. Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancel within 24 hours: a 25% fee applies.
- No-shows or inaccessible sites = automatic cancellation charge.
🛠️ 6. Labour Time Use
- Time starts on arrival and includes setup and cleanup.
- We work from your task list, in order, until time runs out or work is complete.
- Additional time: $95/hr + GST.
🐶 7. George’s Gold Bones Loyalty Terms
- Hours are transferable but non-refundable.
- Loyalty bookings still follow the travel and cancellation policies.
- Loyalty customers get priority scheduling in peak periods.
📋 8. Liability & Insurance
- We hold public liability insurance.
- We’re not liable for hidden faults (e.g. water damage, rot) that only become visible during work.
🤝 9. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe and clear access to work areas.
- Secure pets during the job (George is the only exception).
- Please send your task list before the visit.

Let us know within 48 hours if something’s not right. We’ll come back and fix it.
